With the launching of its latest flagship phone, Google is set to conquer the hearts, as well as wallets, of consumers today. The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are now available for purchase, and many people are curious whether the device is worth every penny.

With Pixel 3 XL, it is evident that Google has invested in things that people want out of a smartphone: great screen, great camera, and a sizeable battery life, among many other elements that make a great phone. Whether the claim rings true or not, let’s try to find out.

Pros

  • Improved screen
  • Superb front-facing speakers
  • Exceptional camera and wide angle front camera

Cons

  • Awkward notch
  • Rear finish is prone to scratches
  • Limited availability from US carriers and internationally

Screen and Display

If you’re curious what the biggest improvement on Google’s newest release is, I would say that it’s the quality of the screen. The screen of the Pixel 3 XL is absolutely wonderful as it uses OLED technology, which displays vibrant and bright colors, as well as deep blacks, and significantly lowers the power consumption of the device.

Looking at it as a whole, one could easily conclude that the company has spent a lot of its time and resources to make its flagship device worthy of being called just that by means of enhancing almost every aspect of the device, including longevity, brightness, and color accuracy.

Another great thing about the Pixel 3 XL is the new color mode that Google is using as a default scheme, and it is called adaptive. Adaptive considerably enhances the vibrancy of the colors on the screen without making human skin tones look out-of-this-world. Of course, it still doesn’t compare to the screen technologies of Samsung Galaxy S9 and iPhone X, but you will notice that the purples and the reds can be quite flattering.

Going back to the screen, the Pixel 3 duo are indeed significantly larger than the previous models, which they owe to reduced bezels and taller aspect ratios. It is especially true for the Pixel 3 XL since it has been extended to the top corner, which gives it a chin and a notch.

The notch can be quite annoying for some people, but you will see that the often you use the phone the notch becomes kind of unnoticeable. Actually, it looks way worse in photos than it does in real-life.

As for the speakers, they have indeed been improved. The company is claiming that they are 40% louder, but there isn’t that much extra volume when tested out. However, instead of the extra volume, it seemed like the quality of the sound had been improved.

Hardware

Now I can finally say that the latest Pixel phones are worthy of their price tag. These top-tier models cost a thousand bucks, and I believe that it’s worth every penny. It’s not to say that it’s better than Samsung’s and Apple’s flagship devices, but it’s finally on par with these high-end phones. As a matter of fact, it’s the little things that actually make these phones feel premium.

The Pixel 3 XL finally features a Gorilla Glass 5 front and rear panel and, more importantly, its overall fit and finish are way better than the previous models. It also comes in three color: “not pink”, “clearly white”, and “just black”. You’ll also be delighted to see that the only logo you will see on the whole device is a single G on the back, which is one of Google’s logos.

Camera

The camera is definitely one of the major reasons why someone would choose to buy the Pixel 3 XL. Google didn’t really change much about the traditional camera specs as there is still only one camera at the back with a 12.2 megapixel sensor located behind an image-stablized f/1.8 lens. In addition, the Pixel 3 XL also makes use of an updated Pixel Visual Core chip for image processing.

The biggest hardware update so far is the second wide-angle selfies camera located on the front portion of the device as well as a flicker sensor at the back, which means that most of the changes would come from the software. Most of the camera capabilities and tricks are still the same although they are significantly better at it now.

Should you choose the Pixel 3 XL as your new device? Well, it depends on your preference. If you want to have a great Android experience and the best phone camera, then you should definitely try out the Pixel 3 XL.

145393-laptops-review-review-asus-rog-zephyrus-s-gx531-initial-review-the-world’s-thinnest-gaming-laptop-for-now-image11-iusgmbidah.jpg

4min5520

Compared to previous models of Asus ROG laptops, the Asus ROG Zephyrus S appears to be well-built and smaller, owing to its slimmer screen bezels and thinner body. As a result, it is the smallest, thinnest, and quietest Nvidia Max-Q laptop ever. However, I am quite concerned whether the company had to cut corners in order to make the Zephyrus S as portable as possible. Let’s find out more.

Pros

  • 15-inch gaming laptop in a 14-inch shell
  • Sturdier overall build quality
  • Lightest, thinnest gaming laptop in its class

Cons

  • Graphics max out with Nvidia GTX 1070 Max-Q
  • Battery size and capacity hasn’t increased

Design

The previous model, the Asus ROG Zephyrus, impressed the consumers with its thin and light gaming laptop that showed no compromise whatsoever to its performance. With the Zephyrus S, consumers are sure to become even more impressed.

The Zephyrus S offers a 15-inch gaming laptop that is in a 14-inch body, thanks to its screen bezels being chipped away and by cutting down on the laptop’s thickness. You don’t need to worry, however, because the performance isn’t compromised by these. In fact, the Zephyrus S promises performance that is on par with the Dell XPS 15 and Gigabyte Aero 15 X.

The Zephyrus S measures 12 x 10.6 x 0.59-0.62 inches and weighs about 4.63 pounds or 2.1 kilograms. Moreover, the laptop has also undergone some relevant changes in terms with design, including its slightly hinge-forward design and a silhouette that is quite similar to the Alienware 15.

Performance

The Zephyrus S comes equipped with Intel Core i7-8750H CPU and Nvidia GTX 1070 Max-Q GPU, which is also used by the Razer Blade and MSI GX65 Stealth Thin. So, it is quite reasonable to expect that the performance of the Zephyrus S would be on par with the two.

However, it won’t be able to support the Nvidia GTX 1080 Max-Q as a configurable graphics option. So, if you want Nvidia’s most powerful and thinnest mobile GPU, you’re better off with Alienware 15 and Acer Predator Triton 7000.

According to the laptop’s specifications, the Zephyrus S will make use of a 4-cell 50WHr battery, which can last for about two hours at best.

Price and Availability

The Zephyrus S comes in two different versions: the expensive and powerful GX531GS and the less expensive and less powerful GX531GM.

The GX531GS version, which comes equipped with an Nvidia GTX 1070 Max-Q graphics card, can be availed at Amazon for only $2,199. On the other hand, consumers can also choose to purchase the less expensive GX531GM version, which is equipped with an Nvidia GTX 1070 Max-Q graphics card and sold at around $1,999.

Overall, I do think that the Asus ROG Zephyrus S is a decent gaming laptop as opposed to previous ROG laptop models. Well, it certainly looks the part. However, I’m not so sure about the decision of the company to limit the laptop to Nvidia GTX 1070 Max-Q and its less than impressive battery life.

Although iOS is arguably the world’s first smartphone operating system, Google’s Android is without a doubt the most popular among consumers. Android has come a long way since its release back in 2008. Looking at it in retrospect, it has already been 10 years since then and a lot of significant updates have come to pass.

Seeing that this year is Android’s 10th year anniversary, let’s look back on the brief history of the OS and its various updates since then.

A Brief History

Android was first introduced to be used on an HTC-made T-Mobile device in 2008. However, the origin of Android dates back before it was even made available on smartphones. As a matter of fact, Android was first developed and released for digital cameras in 2003 by Andy Rubin.

He soon realized, however, that digital camera operating systems aren’t all that profitable, and so he shifted his attention toward smartphones. By 2005, Google purchased Android and used it to enter into the mobile device business. The company promoted Android to other manufacturers, specifically catching the eye of HTC, who used the platform to produce the first Android phone, which is the HTC Dream.

The Different Android Versions

Android mobile operating system had its origin with the release of the Android beta on November 2007. A year later, the first commercial version, which was named Android 1.0, was released to the public. From there on, there had been a number of minor and major updates to the mobile OS. Here is the complete list of the Android updates to date:

  • Android 1.0
  • Android 1.1 – Petit Four
  • Android 1.5 – Cupcake
  • Android 1.6 – Donut
  • Android 2.0 – Éclair
  • Android 2.2 – Froyo
  • Android 2.3 – Gingerbread
  • Android 3.0 – Honeycomb
  • Android 4.0 – Ice Cream Sandwich
  • Android 4.1 – Jelly Bean
  • Android 4.4 – KitKat
  • Android 5.0 – Lollipop
  • Android 6.0 – Marshmallow
  • Android 7.0 – Nougat
  • Android 8.0 – Oreo
  • Android 9.0 – Pie

Various Updates on the Android OS

Following the production of the first Android phone, Google released Android version 1.0, which was obviously far less developed compared to the operating system that we have today. It featured the Google Play Store, which was called the Market at the time. Moreover, it also featured the use of home screen widgets, which the iOS didn’t have at the time.

A year later, Google made its first two updates to the operating system: Android 1.1 and Android 1.5. Not only did the OS get a new version number; it was also the first update to use Google’s unique naming scheme as well. Android 1.1, which was called Petit Four, was released on February 9 and featured a few minor changes, including longer in-call screen timeout and the ability to save attachment in messages; whereas Android 1.5, which was also known as Cupcake, was significant for a lot of reason. The most important one would be that it was the first version to have an on-screen keyboard. The new update also allowed users to capture photos, which they were not able to do with the previous version.

The next big update on Android came in the form of Android 1.6, which is also called Android Donut, in 2009. The much recent update offered support to CDMA networks like Verizon, Sprint, and other big networks in Asia. Donut was primarily aimed to making Android more user-friendly, for example, by enabling it to support different screen sizes. By doing this, manufacturers could create devices with varying display sizes and Android could still run in them.

In the same year, Google made another update on Android, which has now become Android 2.0 Éclair. Éclair perhaps is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, update on Android to date. Most of the changes it brought are still prevalent today, including Google Maps navigation, HTML5 support, and the lock screen.

The following year, Android 2.2 Froyo was introduced, which served as a means to refine the Android experience for users. Froyo also brought mobile hot spot support to the table, as well as the PIN lock screen.

In the same year, Android 2.3 Gingerbread was released and offered a redesign of Android’s widgets and home screen. The update also came with an enhanced keyboard, which lets users to press on multiple keys in order to get access to a second set of keyboard, and the front-facing camera. Would anyone care for a selfie?

In 2011, Google made two other updates to the Android OS, namely the Android 3.0 Honeycomb and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. These updates were made to refine most of what is seen on the home screen as well as the widgets. Other features that were added were face unlock, data usage, analysis, and apps for the calendar and mail.

Another big update on Android came in 2012 with the release of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. There are a number of significant changes made by this update, but I would say the most important would be Google Now and Project Butter, which aimed to notably improve the touch performance of the OS by tripling the buffering graphics.

After Android Jelly Bean, Android 4.4 KitKat was launched and brought with it a number of amazing features, mostly focusing on aesthetic changes to the OS at the time. KitKat also brought changes like the “OK, Google” command prompt, a new phone dialer, and the Hangouts app, among many others.

Android 5.0 Lollipop was then released a year later after Andoid KitKat was released. Lollipop featured the company’s “Material Design” philosophy; however, the changes were not all about aesthetics alone. Google also made some major changes under the hood.

After Android Lollipop, along comes Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which brought some design changes as well as changes under the hood. The most significant change would probably be the app menu. In the new update, the background is white rather than the typical black background from the previous OS versions.

The 14th Android version would be the Android 7.0 Nougat, and it is arguably one of the biggest updates to Android since its first release. Google Now got replaced with the much better Google Assistant. Other notable changes are the split-screen mode, an improved multitasking capability, and an enhanced notifications system.

A year after Android Nougat was released, another update was made and was subsequently called Android 8.0 Oreo. This new update brought about a lot of amazing features, such as picture-in-picture, notification dots, and native split-screen.

The most recent Android update, which was released just recently, is named Android 9.0 Pie. Android Pie offered a lot of visual changes; as a matter of fact, looking at a visual standpoint, it is arguably the biggest update to Android in the last few years.

All these complete the evolution of Android, from its simple beginnings to how impressive it is now. With that, I do believe that we will be seeing a lot more impressive things from Android in the coming years.

At present, with all the emerging social media websites and applications on the Internet, it is extremely crucial that we maintain a level of protection against possible online attacks since it can ultimately jeopardize our internet privacy and safety.

Internet Privacy, a Personal Right That Needs Safeguarding

Internet privacy, which can also be called online privacy, is the privacy and security level of personal data published on the Internet. It is a broad term that refers to a variety of factors, techniques, and technologies that is used to protect sensitive and private data, communications, and preferences.

Consequently, maintaining internet privacy simply means protecting your data from inadvertently being stolen or picked up by an unknown individual. Internet privacy is unlike privacy in real life. It is not as simple as closing the doors or bedroom curtains since real life situations do not apply to the online world, mostly because the notion of privacy is flawed in the digital space.

Whether they acknowledge it or not, most people don’t even know the importance of internet privacy. So, let’s discuss the importance of internet privacy and why we need to safeguard it.

Why is it so Important?

Let’s admit it, we all have something to hide, regardless of how small or big it might be. It could be on the subject of finances, health, family matters, or whatever. Hiding information, which is truly important, is actually not a bad habit, and people usually do it with a sense of self-preservation.

In any case, some matters do not require to be broadcast on social media for the benefit of the entire world. These are actually the kinds of information that a person should be protected at all cost.

Most marketing companies usually take advantage of people’s unpreparedness and try to look into the latter’s private information so that they could use it with efforts of marketing certain products. The same is also true for a lot of unscrupulous people that only have the intention of defrauding people who are not safeguarding their internet privacy.

When you do something on the Internet, you may not know it but every little thing leaves digital footprints that are difficult to erase from the Internet despite the removal of any information. These digital footprints are what those people are looking for.

How Can You Increase Your Privacy Online?

There are several things you can do to browse the Internet a bit more privately to avoid being trailed. You will learn about some of the steps that you can take, from basic settings changes to various extensions you can install that will do the safeguarding for you.

You might be familiar with your browser’s private browsing mode, which is also called incognito, but there are some key limitations there that you should know. Although it basically lets you start a fresh identity on the web and wipes it all as soon as you close the window, it doesn’t actually block the things that let online advertisers track you

A simple first step is to change your browser’s settings, make it so that you don’t accept cookies from third parties. Cookies are small chunks of data that websites store on your computer. They can be used for helpful things, like keeping you logged in, but they can also be used to track you. Of course, it isn’t going to end all tracking, but it would mean less tracking and fewer personalized ads from popping up.

Although all the above tips are helpful, they don’t really block everything. Fortunately, you can still make use of browser extensions that will help you take care of those.  Here is a comprehensive list of browser extensions that can help protect your privacy online:

  • AdBlock Plus
  • uBlock Origin
  • Disconnect
  • Ghostery
  • ScriptSafe
  • Privacy Badger

Lastly, you can take advantage of the options given to you. For instance, Facebook lets you turn off ad personalization by going to its ads setting.  Taking all these steps won’t necessarily solve every issue of internet privacy, but these critical and easy first steps will surely make you feel a bit more secure.

Ever since its birth in the 1950s, gaming has blossomed into one of the most profitable and entertaining industries in the world. And indeed, gaming has become so integrated with the modern popular culture that now even our grandparents know what a video game or even Angry Birds Gaming has become a part of some people’s routine, and it’s absolutely difficult to stumble upon someone who hasn’t tried playing a video game before.

Ever since the information age, where there was a rapid shift from traditional industry that the Industrial Revolution brought via industrialization to an economy based on information technology, there have been countless video games being developed. Among them is Active Shooter, a video game where you can roam the halls and other parts of a school with an assault rifle and simulate a school shooting. In fact, it encourages players to open fire inside classrooms, cafeterias, libraries, and auditoriums. It is quite horrifying how this measly video game could actually encourage real-world attacks.

A Dangerous Video Game Emerges

Active Shooter was first advertised in the aftermath of a recent mass shooting in a Texan school. The ill-advised video game, based on a video posted online, would let you play either as a SWAT team member focused on stopping the school shooting or as the actual shooter. The developer of the video game, I believe, thought that this might be a great idea to profit from.

The video game, developed by Revived Games, marketed it as a dynamic SWAT simulator and was supposed to be released early this June through Steam, a multi-player platform developed by Valve Corporation that is used to distributing games and related media online. Fortunately, after the public shared their outrage over the development of the game, Valve Corporation took it down.

A Troll for Valve

A Valve spokesperson said in an official statement, “We have removed the developer Revived Games and publisher ACID from Steam. This developer and publisher is, in fact, a person calling himself Ata Berdiyev, who had previously been removed last fall when he was operating as “Interactive” and “Elusive Team”. Ata is a troll with a history of customer abuse, publishing copyrighted material, and user review manipulation. His subsequent return under new business names was a fact that came to light as we investigated the controversy around his upcoming title. We are not going to do business with people who act like this towards our customers or Valve.”

What’s really shocking about all of this is that Valve removed the video game from Steam not because of its content, but rather because of the previous actions of the developer and publisher. What also comes as a surprise is a reason why such a video game got approved in the first place.

In the end, the important thing is that the dangerous games was taken down and wasn’t released to the market. It would have been horrendous if young teens and children got hold of such a game. What may seem like a harmless video game at first could eventually promote violence and murder.

Asus has yet again wowed the market with the recent launch of the ROG Phone, a high-performance smartphone that is designed for the mobile gaming enthusiast under their gaming brand, Republic of Gamers.

The ROG Phone signifies the entrance of ROG, a brand that has always been well-known for their gaming laptops, in the smartphone scene. It was presented at the Computex 2018 that was held last Monday, June 4.

The ROG Phone proves to be the flagship of Asus’s smartphones, with its specifications and features, but it has been visibly tuned to appeal to more serious mobile gamers. It is built with a modified Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, the clock speed of which has been upped to 2.96GHz from the standard 2.8GHz. The ROG Phone is the first one to carry this faster version of the Snapdragon 845, which has clear benefits for the phone’s gaming performance.

Asus ROG Phone is More Than Just another Gaming Phone

What makes the ROG Phone exceptional is its pumped-up processor, which is perfect for power users who do everything on their mobile devices. It has 8GB of internal RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.1 storage, and of course, the modified Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.

To address the additional heat, which a faster processor may produce, cooling was made as a key component for the phone. The ROG Phone uses a 3D vapor-chamber cooling system, which boasts a heat dissipation area that is 16 times larger than standard systems.

Asus’s ROG Phone has an 18:9 aspect ratio, which makes its body narrower and easier to hold. To protect its screen from inadvertent damage, the ROG Phone is built with Gorilla Glass, and its water-resistant design protects the body against liquid infiltration.

Dual front-facing speakers use Smart Amp technology to produce more volume with less distortion for its dazzling audio. Depending on your preference, you can also plug in analog headphones or the new ROG Delta Type-C headset and immerse yourself in virtual surround sound with a measure of privacy.

ROG Phone’s integrated networking is also top-notch with Gigabit LTE cellular and WiGig-certified 802.11 and 60GHz WiFi. Its side-mounted port also supports Gigabit Ethernet over Type-C, HDMI, and USB. These Type-C ports work with regular chargers for convenience and compatibility.

What really makes ROG Phone shine is the included HyperCharge adapter, an upgraded adapter that integrates the charger IC that is typically in the phone, which increases the power delivery up to 20W and lowers charging temperatures for the handset. ASUS ROG Phone can charge its 4,000mAh battery up to 60% capacity in only 33 minutes and can get up to an 85% charge in just over an hour.

Asus’s ROG Phone also comes with a fingerprint reader which gives instant unlocking abilities to its owner. The ROG Phone captures 12MP images with the use of its primary camera, while the secondary camera takes 8MP wide-angle shots with a 120-degree field of view.

A New Era of Mobile Gaming

It really is impossible not to be amazed by the ingenuity and engineering that is evident in the ROG Phone. It’s definitely one of the most ambitious projects from Asus to date.

The Asus ROG Phone may have managed to set the bar high for mobile gaming. Its powerful technology and versatile accessories set the foundation in redefining what portable computers should be.

Computex 2018, the largest computing show of the year, has now kicked off.

Computex 2018, which was held in Taipei, is the annual gathering place for the wider PC industry to show off its latest and best innovations. It is also the ideal place to exchange and discuss ideas about the future of personal computing and is often used as a launch platform for daring new concept designs and high specification gadgets.

One of the most noteworthy innovations presented at Computex 2018 is a dual-screen AI-powered laptop, which is called the ASUS Project Precog. If the Precog name sounds vaguely familiar to you, it’s because Precog was the name given to gifted and other-worldly beings that are capable of seeing the future in Tom Cruise’s film, Minority Report.

What is Project Precog?

Project Precog, a concept developed by ASUS, is a laptop formed of two shimmering sheets of glass. ASUS intends this laptop to be powered by AI. Now, what exactly does that mean? It means that Project Precog has two screens that can predict how you’ll want to use your laptop. It can actually detect if there’s a mouse or keyboard around as well. Project Precog can even provide virtual mice and keyboards if there aren’t any real ones around!

Asus’s Project Precog can also anticipate where your fingers are over the laptop and shift its virtual keyboard around accordingly. On top of all this, Project Precog will even have face and voice recognition.

There are a lot of great features on this laptop. For example, Project Precog is optimized to function in a normal laptop mode, tent mode, and flat mode. And for all of the creative folks out there, it will also be compatible with a stylus. The Precog can also learn to predict when your meetings are and will be able to conserve battery effectively so as to ensure that you don’t run out of battery, which is a great feature for businessmen.

To make it simpler, this laptop is extremely smart although it is still a prototype. It’s meant to unite AI design and technology in an incredibly substantial way.

Project Precog as a Finished Product

As I’ve already mentioned, Project Precog is merely just a prototype. So, what will be its complete features as a finished product? Here’s a quick summary of what ASUS says will be in its final build:

  • Project Precog will have a dual-screen and AI setup.
  • It will be able to detect whether a keyboard or mouse is near and will instinctively give you virtual, on-screen ones if necessary.
  • When you are using the virtual keyboard, it can identify where your hands are placed above the frame and can accordingly shift the keyboard.
  • It can learn to recognize what part of the day your meetings or appointments are and will be able to conserve battery accordingly.
  • The AI will be compatible with Microsoft Office applications. One example cited was that Excel would suggest the best approach on how you would be able to present your data as you type or put it into a spreadsheet.
  • Project Precog can work in book, laptop, flat, and tent modes. It can also be used with a stylus. In addition, it will have face and object recognition.

Project Precog as a Finished Product

Of course, we still don’t have an idea on how expensive this laptop will be and also when exactly it will it be launched, but it’s an exciting concept and I am on the edge of my seat to get my hands on this one.

There are a lot of things that we consider trending these days, such as taking selfies, GIFs, hashtags, and memes, to mention a few. People do tend to focus on things that are currently trending, but there is one thing that people universally love since the beginning of time that is food.

Admit it, we really do enjoy eating. I should say that it has become somewhat of a habit for us to eat, whatever we may be feeling. Whether we are feeling sad, heartbroken, confused, angry, elated, or stressed, we usually turn to food as a form of comfort and or reward.

Food Trucks

And in response to our insatiable mutual love and appetite for food, food trucks and food parks slowly earned their fame and brand awareness.

A food truck is a large vehicle equipped to cook and sell food. Some food trucks, including ice cream trucks, sell frozen and pre-packaged foods, while others have on-board kitchens and prepares food from scratch.

A Rich History of Food

The history of food trucks date back many years as mobile dining and street food in America in the late 17th century have been part of American’s dining habits. Since then, food trucks have taken a front seat in the world of American street food and are part of an on-going food revolution.

A Rich History of Food

There is a lot of history in this business, so I will share some of the most noteworthy ones.

  • In the 1850s, dining cars begin feeding cross-country train passengers.
  • In 1872, the first diner is set up in a horse-drawn freight wagon.
  • In the 1950s, ice cream trucks begin selling their frozen treats.
  • In 1974, Raul Martinez converted an old ice cream truck into the nation’s first taco truck and parked it outside of an East Los Angeles bar.
  • While in the 1980s, grease trucks begin parking on Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, selling “Fat Sandwiches” to college students.
  • On July 2006, Wikipedia adds “food truck” to their list of entries including the history of food trucks around the world.
  • And most importantly, in February 2012, food trucks serve NFL Superbowl fans in Indianapolis.

Street food has been available to Americans for centuries, and food trucks have always been serving tasty treats for over two decades. So, the basic concept is nothing new. Yet, as you can probably see, the food truck has taken on a new meaning as the mobile food industry continues to develop and morph.

Food Trucks Around the World

Food trucks and food parks, offering gourmet cuisine and a variety of specialized dishes and ethnic menus, have become particularly popular, not only in the United States but all over the world.

In Asia, the foods they offer require simple skills, basic equipment, and a relatively small amount of capital. They are ubiquitous, with a huge potential for profits and they offer a relatively huge chance for employment. Street foods primarily reflect local culture and flavor.

In Australia, food trucks are available and can be found everywhere. They are usually covered as a popular trend in the media.

Food Trucks Around the World

In Belgium, food trucks have long been a staple of the Belgian countryside. Belgium also holds the Brussels Food Truck Festival, which is the largest of its kind across Europe, every year in May.

In Canada, food trucks, or commonly known as cantines (which is the French word for cafeteria), are available across the country. They serve a wide range of cuisines, including grilled cheese sandwiches and Mexican food.

In the UK, food trucks, or commonly known today as snack vans, can be found on almost all major trunk roads at the side of the road or in locations where there is a large pedestrian count, such as village festivals and town centers.

In a general point of view, I think food trucks appeal to the customers because they offer a comparatively inexpensive means of procuring a quick meal. But, of course, there could be various reasons for this growing trend. Now, when will be your next trip to a food truck, whether it be for a tasty treat or to gain a profit from this two billion dollar a year industry, a food truck is an all-around great bet.
